Love this couple!! I actually knew the groom, Kevin, when I was in college...we'll spare the year that was so that I don't have to feel bad about my age! I loved getting to know Karen! She is so super sweet and has this "no fuss" aura about her that I just love. They were both so completely easy going and relaxed about everything, which is a photographer's dream!! Speaking of a photographer's dream, I have so many amazing pictures from this wedding that I had no idea how I was going to pick any sort of reasonable number to post for the blog. I started with 48 absolute favorites (after I forced myself to pick from the 100 I started with before that) and let me tell you that I had the HARDEST time trying to whittle that list down for a blog post! Sometimes my brilliant subjects are also my curse because I think EVERYONE should be privy to ALL of their spectacular-ness (yes, this is a photography word or at least it is in my book)! I WILL most definitely have to do a Part 2 on this wedding in the next few days when I post Karen's bridals!
But for now, here are a tiny fraction (and I mean that so very literally) of their Wedding Day pictures:

Ryker
Meet Ryker Noble. His momma and daddy are some of my best friends and also just happen to live across the street :) This little mister was technically my first "newborn" session, as in 2 week old newborn!! Most of the sessions I have done so far with newborns, have been at least 6-8 weeks old. So as you can imagine, he felt so tee-tiny to me! And he WAS tee-tiny at just 6 pounds!! I had so much fun maneuvering him in all sorts of fun poses some of the older infants didn't let me try on them. Poor little thing...pretty sure he couldn't wait for me to get out of his house and let him sleep peacefully! Ryker, you may or may not thank me later for these adorable pics, but you are such a precious little boy and I loved getting to be a part of these special memories!

the Minor Family
Okay, so this next comment is completely going to reveal my age, but I have known Ashley since she was in JUNIOR HIGH!! Yes, that's right...I am OLD ;) It is so neat to have been able to watch her grow up into the beautiful (inside and out) woman that she is. I have gotten to know her hubby Brence in the last few years as well and he is just perfect for her! I think their family is just precious....and their little girls absolutely make my heart melt!! We met up for a family photo shoot (I photographed her sister Amy's family last week) for their Christmas pictures. One little missy, who shall remain nameless...ehemmm...Leah, did NOT want to sit still. I mean really, though, what 2 year old wants to sit and smile when there are wide open spaces to run around in?!? I am pretty sure I looked like a chicken with its head cut off frantically following these gorgeous girls around trying to get the perfect pictures, but hey, the shoot isn't really about what I look like, now is it? I am willing to do whatever it takes! The exercise definitely didn't hurt me any ;) Despite some adventurous little girls, I think we got some FANTASTIC shots :)

Amy.Chad.Jaden.Jordan.
I met up with this sweet family to take some Christmas Pictures and although it had been windy all day, the temperature was fairly comfortable. Of course, the minute we began our photo shoot, the temperature dropped drastically and it was.....a bit....chilly, to say the least! We definitely had to take a few breaks to stand in the sun and warm up! Despite chill bumps, chattering teeth, and FREEZING little hands, we had a great time! The boys were super cooperative and pretty much tried everything I asked them to do...even if my directions were completely confusing!! Thanks for letting me photograph your precious family!

the Fiocchi's
This little family is BEAUTIFUL!! Casey, who happens to be longtime friend of my husband's family AND one of my favorite client's sister-in-law, asked me if I might be able to take pictures of her new baby girl Cayleigh when they were in town for Thanksgiving. Let me just say, that I am so honored they would ask me because they are live in Ft. Worth where there are a thousand spectacular photographers they could have chosen from! Not that there aren't spectacular photographers in San Angelo, because there ARE, but you know what I mean ;) Anyway, we squeezed in a session the morning before I left to visit family and I am SO glad we did!! Daddy, Momma, and miss Cayleigh were fantastic! Although, much to dad's liking and my dismay, Cayleigh highly protested when we tried the "tutu" pictures. BUT I snapped a pretty precious picture anyway! Chris and Casey- thanks for being patient with me, even though I said, "this will be the last one," about 1,000 times!! :) Hope you enjoy your sneak peek :)

Family Fun
I have been taking pictures of the adorable Abernathy Family for several years now and I just adore them! Janet and Bryan are great friends from my college years and it's been so neat to watch their family grow. Their kiddos are precious and have the cutest relationship with each other! Normally, I just photograph their little family of 4, but this year we expanded our session "just a little bit!" We added 5 more wonderful people to the mix :) Janet wanted to include her parents, brother, and grandparents, which I thought was a fantastic idea! We had a great time...well, at least I did anyway...and we got some really fun shots:
